EMSONO was created by Robert Blankenship MD, FACEP and Robert Jones DO, RDMS, FACEP in 2005 with the mission of providing a one-stop source for emergency ultrasound education. Using cutting-edge technologies, the website provides members with interactive multimedia presentations, monthly journal reviews, cases of the week, imaging slideshows, and secure forums. The authors have spent years obtaining the highest quality ultrasound images and videos and have worked with professionals to provide high-quality medical illustrations and 3-D anatomic reconstructions. They have combined this with their years of experience in teaching emergency ultrasound to come up with the ultimate educational experience.
